Is OneForma a legitimate platform?

Yes — it's a real crowdsourced contributor platform with an official site (oneforma.com) and its own certification and project-matching process.

OneForma's own site doesn't name a parent company anywhere we could find. Third-party business sources report it as connected to Pactera EDGE (rebranded Centific in 2023) — treat this as unconfirmed until verified against an official OneForma or Centific statement.

Do I need to pass an exam to join?

OneForma's official process includes a 'Get Certified' step — validating your expertise through their own GenAI certifications — before you're matched to projects. Individual project pages we checked didn't spell out an additional project-specific exam.

How much does OneForma pay?

Not publicly disclosed for any of the three projects we checked in detail. Pay is calculated per hour or per approved unit of work, but the exact rate is only shown after you select your specific project and language/locale — OneForma does not publish a company-wide rate.

Is this employee work or freelance?

Freelance/independent contributor work — OneForma's own language consistently refers to 'contributors' and 'community members', never employees.

What kind of projects does OneForma run?

Six official categories: Annotation, Transcription, Judging, Data Collection, Translation, and LLM Prompt Authoring. At the time of research, open listings existed in Annotation, Transcription, Judging, and Data Collection; Translation and LLM Prompt Authoring had no open listings to verify against.

Can I apply from India?

Not confirmed either way from the listings we checked — most say 'Worldwide' or 'Selected Locations' with the exact country list gated behind each project's own locale picker. Two of the nine sampled listings were explicitly US-only (medical/radiology projects).

What equipment do I need?

Varies by project — the Lighthouse QA role specifically asks for a laptop or PC, phone, and headset, plus Microsoft Office 365 familiarity. Other projects only mention 'a computer and stable internet connection' without further detail.

Does TTA Academy have an official partnership with OneForma?

No. This page is independent research compiled from OneForma's own public site for informational purposes — TTA Academy is not affiliated with or endorsed by OneForma.

Lighthouse QA — Independent Quality Assurance Reviewer — OneForma

Last verified: 1 August 2026 · Source: oneforma.com/jobs/lighthouse-qa-...

Quick take (TTA Academy's own assessment — not a OneForma claim)

Difficulty: Intermediate
Best suited for: Working Professionals, Experienced Freelancers
Who should avoid it: anyone unable to commit 20-30 hours/week, or without Microsoft Office 365 and Teams comfort
English level needed: Professional — high-level written English required
Weekly time commitment: 20–30 hours/week minimum (OneForma's own stated requirement)

What is this project?

You're not doing the primary annotation work in this role — you're the second pair of eyes checking it. "Lighthouse" is an ongoing program where a focused team of Independent QA (IQA) reviewers supervises and assesses the output of large-scale summarization, text composition, and visual-content-generation work done by third parties.

What would I actually do day to day?

Apply structured rating criteria to review someone else's completed work.
Identify error trends across a batch of work, not just flag one-off mistakes.
Produce clear, structured feedback reports and improvement suggestions.

Requirements

Native speaker of the target language.
High-level written English — you need it to understand guidelines and write reports.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete time-bound tasks accurately.
Strong, consistent attention to detail; an impartial, instruction-driven approach (you're auditing other people's work, not expressing your own opinion).
Basic computer skills, plus Microsoft Office 365 familiarity (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with Microsoft Teams.
A laptop/PC, phone, and headset.
Minimum weekly availability of 20–30 hours — this is meaningfully more time commitment than a casual side-gig role.

Preferred (not required): prior experience in summarization/text composition/visual content work, or prior experience specifically reviewing judgment-based decisions.

Is there an exam?

Not spelled out on this specific listing. OneForma's general process does include a company-wide "Get Certified" step before you're matched to any project — this listing doesn't restate it, but it's reasonable to expect it applies.

Pay

Not publicly disclosed. The listing states pay is calculated per hour, with the rate set per language/locale — you only see it after selecting your specific market.

Who should apply

Detail-oriented people who prefer structured auditing/review work over open-ended creative tasks, and who can commit real weekly hours (this isn't a "whenever I have 30 minutes" role). Office-software comfort matters more here than in most annotation roles.

How to prepare

TTA Academy's AI Content & Digital Marketing course touches on structured content-quality review, which is adjacent to what this role tests (TTA Academy's own recommendation, not a OneForma requirement).
