Exam PreparationHandshake AI Assessments: How to Pass Your Project Evaluation
Read guideHandshake AI's own Help Center lays out the full journey from application to first payment. Here's each stage, sourced directly.
The Full Journey
1. Apply and verify your identity. 2. Get matched to a project — you'll receive an email invitation with a project description, estimated length, and compensation details. 3. Submit interest in the project. 4. Wait through a short review period while candidates are considered. 5. Get a selection notification by email if accepted. 6. Complete that project's onboarding requirements and training. 7. Pass the project's Assessment, if required. 8. Start working and contributing to project deliverables. 9. Set up your Stripe (an online payment service used to send money to freelancers) payout after completing your first task. 10. Get paid on the weekly cycle.
How Long It Takes
If You're Not Matched Right Away
Not being matched to a project doesn't mean your application was declined. It may simply mean there's no current project matching your background — your profile stays active and eligible for future matches.
Final Thoughts
The process is straightforward but not instant — build your profile well, then be patient with the rolling matching timeline.
