Remote JobsTELUS Digital Pay Rates Explained: What You Can Actually Earn (2026)
Read guideTELUS Digital, DataForce, and OneForma are three of the platforms we've researched most thoroughly against their own official pages. Here's how they actually compare, fact for fact — not general reputation.
Why Compare These Three
All three run large-scale, freelance AI/data-work programs with real, verifiable open roles — but their structure is genuinely different, which matters more than any single 'which is best' ranking.
Work Model
TELUS Digital's AI Community spans a wide tier range in one program, from no-experience ad-rating to PhD-level domain work. DataForce is organized around individual, rotating projects/studies (photo, audio, video collection) on its own community board, with pay set per project. OneForma similarly runs project-based freelance work through its own platform. None of the three offers one company-wide job description — all three set requirements per role or project.
Pay
TELUS Digital's verified range: roughly $3.50–$25/hour across tiers (see our [full pay breakdown](/articles/telus-digital-pay-rates-explained)). DataForce's verified example: $1.50 per accepted photo up to $85 flat for a ~2-hour audio session — a fundamentally different, per-unit pay structure rather than hourly. See each vendor's own page for OneForma's current verified rates.
Qualification Process
TELUS Digital requires a role-specific qualification exam — a short test proving you can do the task correctly before you start, (open-book, guidelines provided) plus ID verification for every role we checked. DataForce has no single universal exam — some projects include a short sample/qualification step, and all submissions go through Quality Assurance review instead of a formal test.
Which One Should You Choose
If you want a structured, tiered path with a clear exam and predictable hourly pay, TELUS Digital's model is more straightforward to plan around. If you prefer picking up individual short-term projects as they appear, DataForce's rotating community board may suit you better. Neither is objectively 'better' — they solve different needs.
Final Thoughts
All three platforms are real, verifiable options — the right one depends on whether you want structured tiers (TELUS Digital) or rotating individual projects (DataForce, OneForma), not on which one 'pays more' in the abstract.
